Having Fun and Staying Active

Once a child has seen a cartoon, iphone, or computer of any kind...they are hooked, lined, and sunk.  Gone are the days when you send your child outside and tell them they are allowed back inside after 3 hours.  Keeping them active and engaging in creative play can be challenging at times.

Having fond memories of my little then big trampoline, we indulged and got our kiddos a mini trampoline and it has been a hit!  It is a splurge and not free play but was worth it in the end.

Kids need to be physically active.  They learn by exploring their "new moves" and being kinesthetic.  They need it to sleep well, to grow, to strengthen, to be happy, to focus, to be creative, and to, well, behave :)  There, I said it.  I'm not quoting research.  I'm telling it to you straight up as a mom.  I know I'm not alone here!
