Currently living in New Orleans, La, I am a mother to three young children, an athlete, business-owner, and spouse —knowing where to put attention and when is a 24/7 juggling act and only achieved when I remain in the present moment. I strive to live consciously and mindfully. Through conscious-living we are able to make our best decisions and navigate life’s ups and downs with compassion.
I believe that we live our best lives when we make healthy lifestyle choices, get daily physical activity, and not take ourselves too seriously! I want motivate and inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle that is purposeful and includes daily physical activity.

Marisa is a certified USA Track & Field coach and a Newton Natural Running Coach. She is certified to teach indoor cycling, core and functional strength training, and high intensity interval classes. She has successfully competed in triathlons and running races from the 5k distance to ultramarathons. She has a BS in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University, a MS in Sports Medicine from UNC-Greensboro, and a BS in Nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill.
